FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The COMPRES Neutrons provides travel/subsistence (e.g. airfare and lodging) for US-based earth scientists (especially Ph.D. students and postdoctoral research fellows) who are going to carry out neutron scattering experiments at the National and International Neutron Facilities and/or to participate in the high pressure workshops and conferences on neutron scattering. Requests for COMPRES Neutrons funding must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the scheduled experiment start date and included the following documents:

A copy of the approved proposal and scheduled start date;
Name of the applicants, institution, and level (i.e. PhD students or postdoctoral fellows);
A budget (airfare, local transportation, meals and lodging).; and
The completed travel approval form.
