By Car: From the Football stadium, cross Southgate Drive and drive up the hill on Tech Center Drive. You will pass the end of the airport runway, and then the road curves left. Take the first right (Pratt Drive). Follow Pratt drive around a left curve to a junction with Kraft Drive. Go straight across Kraft Drive and turn in to the parking lot on your left in front of the ILSB.
There is a BT bus that runs every 15 minutes from Burruss Hall to the CRC. The route is 'CRC Shuttle'. The bus follows Tech Center Drive and then turns up Pratt Drive. Get off the bus at the stop on Pratt Drive after the left curve. Walk on up Pratt to the junction with Kraft Drive. Go straight across Kraft Drive and the ILSB will be on your left.

Blacksburg is located on U.S. Route 460 (just off Interstate 81) 40 miles west of Roanoke in South-West Virginia. Roanoke is the nearest commercial airport. There is a daytime regular bus service and an intermittent shuttle service (Tel: 1-800-288-1958) from Roanoke airport to the campus. The Smartway bus stops at the CRC as well.
Washington Dulles airport is four hours drive by car via Interstates 66 and 81. Charlotte (NC) international airport is less than 3 hours drive by car on Interstates 85, 77 and 81.
To reach us by car from Interstate 81 (southbound and northbound):
Take Exit 118 to reach the exit ramps for all three of the exits at this location. There is only one exit ramp serving the exits; missing the ramp means a trip north to Exit 128 or south to Exit 114 to turn around.
Take Exit 118B onto U.S. 460 West. Follow the signs for Blacksburg/Virginia Tech. The U.S. 460 bypass is a limited-access highway from I-81 to Virginia Tech. Follow Rt 460 for about 6 miles until you come to the firstset of traffic lights where "Virginia Tech" is signposted to the right. Turn right. This is Southgate Drive.
Proceed approximately 0.8 miles. At the second set of traffic lights turn right on to Tech Center Drive. Now follow the instructions in the paragraph above "from campus"
No parking permit is required for the CRC. But do not even think about parking on the VT campus without a parking permit! Visitors parking permits can be obtained during normal office hours at the Parking Office on Southgate Drive, between RT460 and Tech Center Drive.

To get to the Inn at Virginia Tech by car, proceed along Route 460 to the Prices Fork exit. Take the exit towards "Downtown". At the first traffic light, turn right into the Inn.
